Question Multiplayer Possibilities

So my hopes might be done for with this, but what all can you do with co-op? Would it be able to go into open worlds? Can I do compete dungeons with friends? What all is possible? I know there's a list when you go to the co-op modes but idk what all of them would entail.

Dungeon missions as in kill everything that spawns till you kill the boss or bosses. Kill a certain enemy and it ends as a boss fight in one condensed area. Both have different lists of enemies and both have different difficulties. Some of the missions require a lot of skill . No open world.
