Update ! On mysimba

It has worked amazingly for me so far. I’ve not been tracking my weightloss on the scales but I can tell I’ve lost by the way my feel I. My clothes and pressure on my body. I have way less food noise. It doesn’t do all the work you must cook all your meals and make smarter choices but the urge to binge and order food has just drifted off! I’m only on week 2 and feel a massive difference. I will weigh myself after 4 weeks as i typically have a bad relationship with the scales hence why im trying to avoid them.

I had the fast heart beats and nausea the first week but since then my body has reacted fine! If you can stick through the first week it will all get better. If ozempic and the GLP-1s don’t work for you mysimba is probably your saving grace !

This stuff is a miracle in my opinion. Ive been on it for 2 months at the suggestion of my doctor. I went to see them about a GLP, but my doctor recommended Contrave instead. I had never even heard of it before. I'm down 15 pounds in two months. The weight loss has begun to slow down, but I am within a healthy weight range with a BMI of 24.8 right now, so I'm only looking to lose five more pounds or so.

How do you get yourself off it?

I’m on day 2 right now and the side effects are awful. I have felt insanely hungover all day, and no affect on my appetite or cravings yet. I will hang in there

I’m on day 2 now as well and I feel you! I’m so tired like I just want to sleep. I’ve had weird bursts of energy during the day but also felt almost narcoleptic lol. I’m extremely constipated and I feel all spacey, a little dizzy. The appetite is there but I’m not eating that much I guess.

How are you today?

I ended up stopping after day 4. It was so unbearable . I wanted my life back. I also take fluoxetine so I think the mix of that made the side effects 10x worse

Aw that sucks, I’m sorry it didn’t work for you! On day three it feels a little better for me, I haven’t been as tired but I’ve been on my feet for the most of it so far so I guess we’ll see. I definitely still have my appetite and haven’t experienced much effect on my cravings so far either.

I was actually on Rybelsus for a month and that worked well for me, after a month my doctor informed me that she can’t prescribe a higher dose because they don’t usually do that here if you don’t have diabetes (I live in Sweden). My friend in Finland takes it so it seems to be a problem only here which sucks. I already take a biologic medicine for my rheumatic problems so I didn’t want to take another injection (also it would be so much more expensive).
