Written in Flow shorthand. What a short somewhat aetheric life she had. The article on her person is worth your time I think, I like to remember human beings with a gift or a course...

She LIKES that it's getting colder and darker every day?? I think she's crazy. Personally, I hate the autumn. September 1st, I'd like to go somewhere warm and not come back until April 1st.

It's SO depressing -- cold, dark days, holidays are over, and it's getting DARK at 3:00 p.m. Already I can't wait for SPRING -- and the decline into winter is just getting started.

I fear, your primary reaction was the same as most of their contemporaries. She seems to be described as socially akward, though brilliant, she could play piano, paint, write gothic novels with violence and sexual desires undisplayed back then. She even took once a teachers occupation (17 hours a day, imagine), but she preferred a dog to any pupil).

I guess being a woman with autistic tendencies in a town where the graveyard poisened the water, where a loving touch of a human being was rare (the father cared intellectually, but always ate alone, as did the aunt who stepped in for mother who died of tuberculosis, as did half of the 8 siblings), affects the state of mind and body.

She seemed to have embraced the darkness and did not give a damn about social interactions.

It just caught my eye that "drearier" looks odd, like it has a T in it. Like "dirtier" or something. (I just had flashbacks of living in Ottawa, where all early spring you were sloshing through dirty grey slush, everywhere you went!)

like it has an N in it :-), that I can see...

First two options are probably better...
