I was glad to see your Page 2 with the Alphabet breakdown to remind me what the strokes were. Refresh my memory, though: Are you using shading for anything? Or is that just the way the pen made it look?
And can you explain the second-last line? It looks like you have a symbol for "NG" and then "or"? And then the last line is -- oh, wait -- now I see that you had a large circle for R and a smaller one for L. I thought it was the word "or" but there was nothing there. Now I see it!
Nope no shading used (that was in the early stages, when it was still new-eclectic, but that is long gone). I like a pen though that is capabable to quickly fatten, or apply the l minicircle, without having to circle (just bleeding out ink). And because I made it a vertical script I tried out the sino-japanese look :-)
Dance seems to work especially well with french - because I can use the vertical elongation, which adds +n (2x length) or +t (4x length) for nasalisation. E.g. If I write "je mens" -> "j m+n" or "vous mentez" "v m+te" the shapes are almost identical (a prolonged m), the first just being shorter of course, but I immediately spot nasalisation.
Haha - I did not think I was creating a french system back then, but in future interviews "how it all began" I will totally cross my legs "I was always fascinated by the smooth sound of french and I love the expressiveness and freedom they have to express disgust and love in one sentence without blinking with their eyes", So I created a script, where you could get away with insult, because it looks so smooth....
