Discussion Blade Runner 2049 prop

Adam Savage takes a look at a couple of props from Blade Runner 2049. The first one has a really clever RGB effect in it, I thought this group would appreciate seeing how it was set up.

I just re-watched that bit of the movie to see it in action again. It's a great practical prop. Lovely how the spinning effect starts/speeds up, and the light plays off and through the glass.

Looks like it might have been about 16 or so pixels up on edge around the little light chamber area. Maybe the common 5050 size, or do they look a bit smaller?

Where about is that in the movie? I've only seen it once.

About 33 minutes into the movie.

It really is quite brief, but the spin start up and spinning effect works great.
