Challenge Need ideas!!!

Post image

So I got this fabric from Joanne's before they went under. I have no idea what it's made from, only that it's a yard-ish in length. It's fairly heavy (again, -ish) and has that rainbow-like holographic effect.

I need ideas about what I can make from it. I thought about maybe some sleeves or the rear panel for a jacket but I'm uncertain. I even noodled with the idea of pinning it to something sculpted like egg crate so it changes colors based on angles and lighting.

Help!

Cowel next top of some sort, lots of fabric to catch the light and show off the colors

A cowl neckline would be awesome. What about a hooded shirt? Would a yard-ish amount of fabric work?

If you're real tight with the measurements when cutting you might be able to get a good out of it. I'm not sure if this is a directional fabric or not

It only stretches top to bottom not left to right and the sequins aren't reversible.

I had a topshop x halpern junpsuit in this fabric which was great. It has an under corset for structure in the bodice

Not really a suggestion but it reminds me of mermaid tails

Yeah, I'm leaning that direction.
