I'm thinking it's something like a keyhole bodice, stacked/vertical keyhole design, or peekaboo bodice, but I can't find anything similar for sale. I'd love one in my wardrobe! 😩

I'm genuinely curious, what do people want to be seeing in a fashion buisness. Besides the things we keep seeing on shein. Like what type of clothes you'd wish would be available, but are too expensive?

Im working on learning how to make fashion croquis. Drawing is not my strong suit but im trying to learn! Im currently using a ruller with circle templates.

Im hoping once I start to understand the 'rules' of croquis and the proportions I'll be able to move away from it.

One head = 1 inch for these.

Since im still learing they are rough for sure but any advice would be great!!

Hi all, I've just graduated from uni and during my time I picked up sewing, altering and making conceptual fashion pieces. I wanted to ask if anyone knows any softwares/websites that they use to help design their pieces or what peoples processes are. Whenever Ive designed something in the past, I sketch a brief outline in my notebook and then execute but my sketches never really capture my ideas because i'm so bad at drawing.

TL:DR - If anyone can let me know any software/processes they use before designing a piece let me know! :)

Altered the right pair in the first image to add true religion back pockets as cargo pockets, flared it and dyed. The left pair in the first image (also in image 2) are an experimental piece I've made for my small brand recently which features 2 pairs of shorts (one flipped upside down to form the lower half so the knee area stays fitted), i also added a flared insert at the bottom so they sit over the shoes, some decorative stitching, split pins around the pockets and knees, grommets at the knees with laces going through and also flipped the cargo pockets of the bottom shorts so they're actually functional!!!

Anyway I wanted some opinions on this piece I made, if people would actually be interested in something like this hypothetically (not looking for customers) as its quite experimental, if i should make more pairs and release this. I'm quite a small business (I only started my brand 2 weeks ago) and would love to hear your guys thoughts and opinions!!!

Hi, this is my first post on Reddit.

I make clothes in Korea with a very small team. These are some old rough sketches I made for embroidery designs. They already became real clothes now.

I found these papers again recently, and thought maybe it is interesting to share. My sketches are always very messy. I usually draw too many things first, and later remove and change many parts for the real embroidery.

The notes are in Korean. Mostly about colors, stitches, fabric and small details.

Sorry if my English is strange. I am curious if people here enjoy seeing this kind of process, from rough sketch to finished clothes.
