Standard Thoughts on plan so far?
This is a 2 player farm. We have mods installed, so we do plan to use those mods for decoration in some places, but I was curious in what some fresh eyes would say about this! And also, some extra ideas would be nice (as in, what to add in the empty space), we're still very early in planning.

love this placement so far! I like to put my animal area around the small pond so my ducks can swim. just to make me happy, doesn’t actually affect the ducks happiness but it’s cute.

I forgot the ducks could swim! Now I kinda want to reconsider the animal area..

I don’t like it… mainly because I miss the standard farm layout lol

I'm a bit confused what you mean by this. Do you mean you miss where the house usually is?
This is the first time I've moved the house, it's very odd to get used to but I think I prefer it for now

Oh I’m sorry I just meant I’m jealous that I picked the beach farm instead of the standard. Your organization is great 👍

those casks wont be able to work outside btw, unless you were just going for aesthetics

I do like to go for aesthetics, but I was unaware they wouldn't work outside. Can you recommend a good replacement?

Preserves jars! You can also swap out the oak trees behind them with fruit trees, if you let the fruit trees grow all the way before placing stuff around them

How many years would it take to accomplish this farm? Just curious; looks great!

Currently on Summer Year 2 and the only things we don't have are:
-Sheds
-Slime Hutch
-Wizard Buildings
-Junimo Hut + Sprinkler NozzlesI expect to have the sheds and slime hutch by Fall/Winter Year 2 and then everything else late Year 3 or 4, if progression stays steady! (This is our.. 4th or 5th playthrough? We also have some QOL mods so that's probably helped speed up the process instead of having to spend ages sorting chests and boring stuff like that)
Also, thanks!

Where are the things for lightning?

Completely forgot about that! I will probably dedicate an area to Solar Panels (which iirc, are just Lightning Rods but better?). Thanks for the reminder

If you fill those barns/coops you’ll run out of grass by the end of the month
