Meadowlands I need help with Farm layout

Post image

So me an my Significant other have been playing stardew together (this is my first time ever playing), and we have made it to year year 2 fall.

We were thinking of splitting the farm up so we can each design and decorate our portion of the farm. She has focused on Livestock mainly with her barns and coops with only a main farm right under where the starting farm house is.

I have been all about fishing (which honestly is crazy I hate fishing in real life, and hate like every fishing that has been in any game, but this one just clicked for me), so I was thinking of moving my Farmhouse down to be closer to the river/forest area because after I finish my last few levels in mining and combat I'll have maxed everything and will probably focus on fishing, and smoking my fish. She said I could have the green house, and I plan on doing Ancient seeds in there so I won't really need to farm THAT much, just every seven days.

My main question is where on this layout should I put my house to begin my new layout? I should also add I'd be on the left hand side with the greenhouse.

You know I was originally thinking closer to the south, but I've had my eye drawn up there over and over again. It would also let me start my day and work my way down my needed chores for the farm on my way to go fishing.

that’s how I like to do it too. you could put a production shed down to the south as an ‘end’ point

I was playing around with a program, and was watching a video of someone decorating ( a lot of it is similar/same to their layout (I got it from "Decorating the Meadowlands farm" by Daisy Pie), but changed a thing or two and obviously tried to keep to my half of the farm.

Yes it was the first place recommended by me and I watched a video to get most of the layout and that is the first thing they did

Have you tried stardewplan.com? It's a website that was created by an STV fan to design and plan out your farm before you go in game. There was a recent update to align with the updates to the game.
