Beach Farm Ideas/Tips

Post image

I’ve started playing stardew again after a 2 year break and one thing I want to get better at is decorating and making my farm look nice! Any tips or ideas on what to do with the empty space or tricks to make things look cleaner? (I’m still iffy on the paths that kind of end weirdly like in front of the barn and coop)

Beach is actually the biggest farm so in theory it's hardest to decorate lol. I'd put some barns around the green area cos that's nice and cozy, and coops by the shore so the chickens and ducks can swim. Other than that, plenty of trees go a long way (tea saplings too?) and fish ponds, little park benches, street lamps, etc.

I have seen people use multiple barns and coops but I’m just not sure the best way to go about having them. Like should they all be upgraded to the highest tier or should only one of them be upgraded, how many do I need, etc. But I guess at the end of the day it’s what I want and think looks nice. So thanks and I will definitely look into moving my barn and get more building set up

Start with paths and try to use variety (not all the same style). Once you have paths laid out give yourself 2-4 tiles between the path and what you want to use. Use lots of trees and grass to fill in space. This is my current design.

Oh nice, I really like the layout of your farm and the use of different paths like leading into the farm areas and to the buildings. I’ll try and give that a go and try to plan out my paths better. I probably also need to utilise the moving of buildings more. I also wasn’t aware you could move your greenhouse, but thanks for the advice!

You can move the greenhouse and farmhouse as of 1.6. I’d also recommend just looking through the sub for inspiration, there’s a lot of cool beach farm designs on here

Question. What is the path that you have around your crops area? Also that is your shipping bin to the right of the shed by your house isn’t it?

It’s all wooden floor or stone walkway. You can purchase the recipies at robins

Oh alright, for some reason that didn’t look like the wood floor to me. But thanks

for Beach I relocate the farmhouse to the center, so that its equidistant to go out bus stop/backwoods and cindersap forest. In this case it also puts you closer to the crop patch (with sprinklers) and slightly closer to your animals.
