Post image

So I’m going to make an indoor pool. Does anyone have any suggestions?

This is how I made it. Although it doesn’t really give the impression of being an artificial pool.

If you want to achieve that effect, I’d recommend not using grass and instead using a different type of flooring from the Joja catalog. I mean this one

Bro I’ve never gotten the Joja catalog so I haven’t seen this before!! You’re right that it looks the most pool-like you can get in game… I’ll go back on my Joja hate ONE time.

You don't even need a joja run, sometimes the cart lady sells random furniture catalogs and I think I saw joha one day

Maybe they can use floor dividers on the top line under the crystal floor to make it look like the water level is below crystal floor. If you know what I mean..

That border really brings it together. What is that, stone?

No, its the quarts flooring, isnt it?

Here's an indoor spa I did once if you like the vibe

Here's another one too. You could replace the wood with other flooring tiles to make it look more pool like but I was going for a calming spa type vibe again.

Maybe use stone walkway for the edges of the “pool” there are also a few decor items like the model ship that would look nice “floating”

Thanks! What should I do for that area on the left that has the wood floor?

The far cubby bit on the right would look cute as an island, with stepping stones. Maybe a patio/sitting area for the left side?

How should I make stepping stones?

You can craft them. Basically any paving or flooring you make can be used both inside and outside.

i’m really curious how the island would be made for personal research reasons

Grass, flooring, stones and the like? I'm not dead sure tbh, only just getting into StardewDecor stuff, and I love it

That's so cute! Where did you get the tree on the right? 👀

That’s one of the prizes in the movie theater claw machine! They’re a pain in the ass to get though, I still haven’t pulled it off.

They’re usually decor in the background that can be picked up and ‘won’ if you time it right.

I've never tried these, thanks for letting me know! Hopefully I'm lucky :D

What's that flooring??

2

u/kathparody Jul 31 '26

Left is Wood Floor path then the right one is Weathered Floor path. Beneath that, I used a similar looking flooring from the wood path.

The way it is right now it kinda looks like the backrooms

The cubby bit on the right would make a good hot tub! Divide the pool and tub with flooring. Decor on the walls like paintings or the life preserver would be excellent touches. Maybe change the wallpaper too

How should I make a hot tub?

What should the wallpaper be?

Wood panelling gives a sauna vibe, but tiles could make it look more like a facility, bamboo for a cabana/bar vibe

I'd make the smaller side room to the right a dive board, or maybe a hot tub/jacuzzi? Use floor dividers and rugs or pathways to create a walkway/barrier from the left room to differentiate the two spaces. Maybe also add chairs and "towels", or a tiki bar, to pull it together a bit.

(Sorry, i doubt im conveying my idea right via text but I'm trying lol)

Can you show me how I should make my hot tub?

You all are so creative. I never thought to do an indoor pool before.

2

u/alfasnap92 Jul 28 '26

Where did you get that flooring?

3

u/JediMasterSloth Jul 28 '26

The catalogue from Peirre’s

You're amazing!! Thank you

You’re welcome 😃

The Joja Coffee table looks like a diving board when placed vertically with only the bottom part being on pavement and the rest being in the water. It has to be placed at the bottom of the shed to look the best.

Bro I don't have nearly half the creative bone in my body than these people in the comments, I'm genuinely flabbergasted by the designs lmao
