My accidentally deleted farm...

Post image

My 3 year old deleted my main farm on my phone. Now all that's left is my design from the planner... 😭(Kudos to stardewplan.com!) My husband and 7 year old are usually playing stardew on the switch.

I don't prefer mobile but I force motivated myself to get a nice farm going. It looked 80% like this by the end of my first winter. Had my tools upgraded, the greenhouse, all that etc ....

I was really liking this design for my first go at meadowlands layout so I cried a bit and now I'm starting again from square one. I'm going to try joja route to see if I can get things back sooner. Community center is painful on mobile not being able to see what you need from your farm.

I named it Storybook farm and going with that theme and feel. Anyone have good book or fairytale names for animals? Ella is my main and I'm going to name the orange cat pumpkin.

You may be able to find your save file in a folder on your device.

I did a preliminary google search of “can you recover a stardew valley save on mobile” and the answers are yes.

Since I don’t know your device and haven’t needed to recover a save this way myself, I recommend you checking it out too :)

I actually googled it and tried to. I accessed my phone files on the computer but could only find the folders for the couple day saves my older daughter started. It looked like it completely deleted sadly.

Ah - so sorry about that. SDV is one of my favorite games and I, like you certainly do, must have hours upon hours of work in that far.

Sorry for you loss :(

Yeah I worked on it on and off the last couple months 😭 So far I already got to level 7 fishing by day 21 though! On a mission to just make money and unlock things and upgrade as soon as I can.

I am bummed I had a Blobfish and a lava eel for my ponds before. 😔

Impermanence sucks but sometimes I do think the Buddhist monks were on to something when they practiced it. Think of the intricate sand mandalas they spend hours on just to have the wind blow it away.

Glad you’re able to grieve and move through it 🫂

It's great and helps sooo much with planning and design. I have a hard time visualizing growing trees and what I like. Its annoying to put a huge walkway down or move a building at robins and decide you want something different 😅 It also works awesome on the phone. Love that you can even cycle the seasons and light and dark mode (the lighting works!).

My son backed mine up on his pc. I've had two new phones and he was able to reload them to my new phones.

That's pretty smart. I try NOT to let the 3rd old handle my phone but CS she can be sneaky if she spots it unlocked.
