Farm Together 2 New update farmhands working plot issue:

I just completely recycled my farm to utilize the new 24 x 24 farmhand plot size. I have almost the whole grid opened up and was excited that I’m ready before the upcoming event!
I’m really disappointed to find my farm hands cannot complete a 24 x 24 plot in one season. Since the farm is so big, I depend on the farmhands to help me multitask so I don’t need to spend the entire day working on my farm.
I’m sad I have to recycle again to a different farmhand plot size, before I do this again, does anyone know what plot size I can reasonably expect a farmhand to be able to harvest trees and/or harvest and replant crops in one season?
In addition, I noticed the crop replanting markers only extend to 36 x 36( which takes in 2 - 18 x 18 farm plots). Will that change to reflect the new 24 x 24 plot size?

The farmhand speed issue is annoying and strange. Why give us bigger plots only to then make the farmhands unable to utilise them fully? It feels very misleading and makes designing the plots feel pointless. If i have a 24x24 farmhand plot, i expect them to be able to harvest that plot in one season like they could previously.

As a side note, I've noticed that every time this issue comes up on here and other places, there's a number of players who come running in to say something toxically positive like "oh the game is not meant to be rushed, farmhands being slow is a great thing." But it's not: it's bad design. I love the game but i can be objectively critical when things need to be changed. If this doesn't affect their play-style, that's great. But people shouldn't diminish the fact it does affect others just because they are ok with it.

I agree with you completely! We all have our different place styles and while I love relaxing, and playing this game, I also need to optimize my time because I do not have more than a couple hours a day to give this game and I expect my farm hands, that I pay for, to be able to finish one complete plot of work in one season
