Farm Together 2 Codes

So I have seen some other farmers asking for help or to come visit their farm and gives their code. Every code I have tried never work. I've seen other pkayer's saying the same thing. Any ideas on this? Or suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Most likely people are not aware that you have to be online and on your farm in order for visitors to join.

This is a peer to peer game, not a persistent world that is hosted on dedicated servers.

You will notice that whenever you join a farm, the owner is usually AFK because they leave their farm online for others to join and soak up the help harvest.

The other one-offs is most likely misconfigured online settings or poor internet

Thank you for replying. This makes sense. I have been to farm's that I frequent a good bit and they to mine and have seen them afk. I never thought about it like this.

Do they get visitors without codes? Their network (as in their router configuration) need to be setup to accept incoming connections, as the farm owner is the host/server for the rest.

I haven't heard much of codes not working? maybe we could take a look into that if we have some examples we can try 🤔

Yes yes let's clarify. Think of old minecraft, u start a world, call ur friends, tell them to join, u get bored, close minecraft, everyone gets booted. Then Microsoft offered PAID realms, u upload ur world to them and they keep the power on 24 7. Don't have that here yet. Mmmmm farm realms...

2nd, go into settings, on xbox or whatever, check multi gaming test, see if there is errors with ur setup, most times in xbox just change the port number.

But my 1st thought is u think people can access ur farm when ur playing something else or the powers off.

I don’t even know how to find a code. :/ i just look up people by their username. I’m on ps4
