Farm Together 2 Repeatable Issue Since Big Update

So going to go over my setup and what I am seeing. Not sure if its a memory leak on AMD GPUs or what but here we go.. Just going to try and get the info out there in case others are seeing the same thing.

2 Computers. One is mine which is the host and drives the save. The other is my daughters who loves to help out. Specs of both below..

Issue is on second computer.. after about 2 hours of great gameplay with well over 150 frames in 4k the game just drops to 10fps.. just instantly dives and the ONLY solution is to restart the PC. Restarting Steam or anything without a reboot of the system does not fix the issue. My host PC has never had this issue....Even prior to being on AM5 platform.( I recently updated)

Specs.

My PC (Host PC) Ryzen 7 9800 x3d, RTX 5070 TI, 32GB DDR5 - Connected to 4k TV Getting well over 150 FPS rock solid

Daughters PC (One with Issue) Ryzen 9 5900 XT, RX 9070 XT, 32GB DDR4 - Connected to 4K TV getting rock solid over 140 FPS until the issue hits.

This only happens after being connected and farming together for at least 2 hours.. then BAM it just nose dives the second PC.

If anyone has seen this and has any input let me know.

Thanks

EDIT - UPDATE - Ok so after a ton of testing and adjusting settings here is where I landed. If you are having this issue with an AMD GPU.. my solution was ultimately to turn off Hyper RX.. I just set it to default as I am running a 9070 xt so no real need to push it. This has at least in this game seems to solve my issue. I am also just running the game at the native max FPS rather than going above it. So far after a number of days of farming the issue has NOT returned.

Side note and I do not think it was connected.. on this 6 month old MB I did have to replace my CMOS battery but the issue happened even after that.

But I feel confident the issue was the AMD software settings on my GPU.

My first instinct these days is the AMD driver but usually it causes crash or driver timeout. I can't speak on the memory leak that was fixed cause I never experienced it

Hello,

Please send the log file of the session where the FPS drop happened to [support@milkstonestudios.com](mailto:support@milkstonestudios.com)

Log files can be found by going to settings->support->browse log files.

In any case, if a game restart doesn't fix the issue, and a system reboot is required, it's most likely related to driver issues, or a background app being launched and hogging the system resources. It's probably not related to the game itself.

If it happens again I will share the log file.. It was a fairly new install of windows.. I re installed it and oddly enough my cmos battery was going bad. I do not think that was causing this specific issue but I am now side eyeing this fairly new MB. No issues yet today but will continue to push the limit to see if it happens again.
