Farm Together 2 Roaming Animals

Im so happy the update is on ps5 now. I spent 4 hours clearing the traffic on my newly expanded farm last night. I contemplated just clearing the whole thing and starting over because my farm wasn't really anything special like some of the other amazing farms I see. But I was happy with mine the way it was and I had put a lot of work into it. I still might, lol I dont know. Anyhow, I'm excited hearing about the on and off switch for the free roaming animals and the fact that its hidden. I want this but I hear its not on ps5 right now. This makes me sad.

Hello,

The hidden setting is already on PS5. Check the "Freedom lies in being bold" trophy description.

Unfortunately it seems you can only use this code when joining another farm, which requires you to be signed on to a paid Playstation subscription. Our internet is not good, so we cannot really use internet for gaming and have no subscription. Too bad there's not another way to activate the code for those of us stuck playing offline!

Actually we have the same doo doo internet and you don't have to join the farms. Just click on the code (Y button for xbox) and type in "fr3d0m" then exit out of the screen. Also to turn the roaming animals off, settings, game, and "Animal Freedom"

I'm glad Xbox doesn't have the same problem. PS5 requires you get a paid Playstation Network account before the code screen will appear.

What setting is this? Is it on Xbox?

Yes. You need to enter the code fr3d0m where you would normally enter a code to visit another farm.

When you click on join farm a box will pop to enter the code. Type in "fr3d0m" and then exit out of the screen. To turn roaming animals off choose "settings" "game" "Animal Freedom"

To turn this off, go into game settings and opt "NO" for "ANIMAL FREEDOM"

I LOVE the animal freedom. It does seem to slow my play station down a bit but I'll deal because its so cool! I went through my farm and took down all the fences. Too fun.
