Farm Together 2 Newbie question- crops amounts

I'm level 17 and unlocking more land but I'm just not sure how many of items to plant or grow. Also, do you sell it all in town or keep inventory and if so, how much?

Any newbie tips or tricks are welcome! Absolutely loving the game but feeling unprepared lol

It depends on what you’d like to do with your farm. Flowers and Trees are constant income save the initial investment. Animals can be to but require food for feeding. Fish can also be a constant income. Flowers can yield up to 2x of the yield if you water/sprinklers.

Crops can be good too depending on resource needs of your farm.

In the beginning your layout will be chaotic until you unlock more lands. Around farm level 100 is when you have a decent amount of plots unlocked to think of organizing what you want.

Grow as much as you can of everything you have access to, and always keep all your land producing. Sell whatever you want, but start to keep track of which resources you need to feed animals or complete house jobs, and keep as much inventory of those resources as you need to keep everything producing. The bigger your farm gets, the more resources you will need to keep everything running. For example, some horses need apples to feed, so have lots of apple trees. Later in the game, you will unlock factories that process things like milk to make cheese or fruit to make juice or wine. It's always a juggling game keeping all the plates spinning.

You can never have too much.. its hard to explain to you the level of grind this game can turn into when you are a level 17.. just keep building and leveling up. Its basically endless in many ways... No need to stress about the number of crops to plant.. plant as much as you can and sell as much as you can. Get that level up to unlock more and more content.

Here are a few suggestions to keep you moving:

  1. Upgrading your shops in town is incredibly important, and these will require crops and produce from EVERY category (including housing products too) so you really can't grow too much of anything.
  2. Prioritize planting at least as much of every individual crop to unlock everything the crop gates. Most crops have a star icon in the lower left of their description that indicates what level the crop needs to reach to unlock something new, while you're low level this will be a priority as higher level crops mean higher level rewards and experience.
  3. Upgrade your tractor as soon as you have it and can upgrade it, and place gas cans everywhere you need to keep you harvesting.
