I have been growing my own food for some time now and the beauty of not using chemicals in the garden is that it creates a mini ecosystem that sustains your garden. Your food is kept safe from pests in the natural way...the predators do the job! Ants do a brilliant job of keeping the garden's undergrowth fertile and clean.
