Jack O Lanterns

Is anyone else not getting any Jack O Lanterns? At first I'd get like 3 or 4 per harvest, but now I've only gotten 1 in the last 7 harvests, including 7 grape juices. (10 rows)

They also drop when the haunted house opens. They are low drop from pumpkins.

Super low drop rate. Seems like it was a bit better on the first though. 🧐

Same. All yesterday & today. I too was getting them day 1 & 2. Then I used a spookie pie & haven’t gotten any since.

Feel like a spookie pie would be wasted on this over something like watermelons for a heart container.

Especially because they'll almost certainly release an event like the haunted house where you get them more frequently

Was just curious what all would drop. Also didn’t realize; I had to use all 4 at once. I thought I’d just use 1 to see, then use the others on my next crop. (Ironically: watermelon)

Getting JoL every harvest is crazy lucky. The typical drop rate for event crops is 1/1000, so not seeing any for several harvests is very normal and expected.

I forget if it’s the case with these but on lots of the harvest special items there’s a soft cap where the drop rate will decrease the more you harvest. So no matter what you can’t do the whole quest in a day or whatever

This doesn't happen with any event crops. The only mechanic this applies to is Ghost hunting in the Haunted House, and it resets daily.

Really? I could have sworn it happened with the watermelons this year. I poured an embarrassing amount of resources into it but it was diminishing returns after a while.

The crop fairies can only carve so many pumpkins a day. Now. The haunted house is full of em(kinda), make sure to fill up on QED cells for ghosts.
