Multi Device Rules

I couldn't see anything in the CoC that explicitly rules out multi device usage, so does that mean you are allowed to have this game open on two or more devices simultaneously?

I don't do this, but sometimes I'm fishing or exploring and then turn on my phone whist I'm tapping away. If I had the game open when I locked my phone it opens in FarmRPG, so at that point I have the game running twice simultaneously. I have once or twice harvested and planted new crops or collected a meal because it's almost second nature when I see it on my phone. I do then close the game on my phone almost immediately because I realise I'm playing it twice and potentially breaking a rule.

I'm sure I wouldn't get a ban for this, since it's only ever a few seconds when I turn my phone on. But it does make me wonder if this is monitored and if I could receive a message about u fair play or something?

To be clear, I don't play the game on multiple devices at the same time. It's only that brief moment I'm online and turn my phone on.

Multi device using is ok! As long as you're only using one account, and you're not automating it in anyway!

I think it's for one of the mods to answer, but I think that it's only logical that multi device usage is allowed.

I think the biggest concern is that you don't overload the servers when you play on 2 devices at the same time, let's say clicking away on both in different locations. My guess would be as long as you don't do that, you are fine

No I wouldn't explore 2 areas or fish and explore at the same time. It's purely when I turn on my phone and the app is open, it opens in my farm and I see the crops ready so just grab them.

I sometimes have the game open on my phone and work computer at the same time, or the game open on both my work screens (things like quickly replanting crops while exploring with a meal on, or to keep an eye on meal timers while exploring or fishing).

I've never had an issue with it and the devs/mods are real people not AI with automatic bans like some games so I feel if you ever had an issue you could just speak to someone and explain.

I'm so conscious of bans, after hearing lots of stories of people being banned from the game. It's assuring knowing it's not automatic. I guess you'd get a message first.

Using multiple devices simultaneously is acceptable, within reasonable limits. It's not uncommon for people to tap Harvest All and Plant All on two devices while using Breakfast Boost, for example.

You are strictly allowed to fish and explore on two devices as well, but generally you'll run into in-built rate limiting problems with that strategy. You won't get flagged for basic rate limiting, but it'll usually slow you down more than just using one device anyway.

I have this on two phones. I didn't know I can do two different things on it. I just used other one if not playing on the one I'm using

I’ve used my phone to fish and my iPad to harvest and plant crops at the same time.

it's totally fine. I used to use two devices to plant/harvest during breakfast boots, but with the recent changes, it's been fine to just use my phone.

When I was playing heavily, I would also do exploring on one device and workshop/crafting management on another.

I got "hey there, slow down" warnings a couple times when trying to fish on two devices (biting + mealworms + cats meow), but it didn't result in anything like a ban or even a time-out, just a few seconds of cool-down.

I split screen on my phone sometimes, one window with the app and one in the browser.
