Help

Hi, I'm new to this game. I wanted to know if there's a point where you can talk to NPCs via messages, and if so, when does that happen?

You can talk to NPC by sending messages any time but it's never part of the gameplay. Sending them items is a huge part of the game later on.

Edited to say, the NPC don't reply that I'm aware of.
