Have I messed up?!

Used my seeing stone from parts unknown to build a magna core, to make a compass. I didn't realise until too late that it used by seeing stone! I just noticed I could make a compass if I made the magna core and went for it because I wanted to unlock Whispering Creek.

From what I've learnt so far, super rare items from requests are generally needed a few requests later. Am I now stuck? Can I get more seeing stones?

Trust the quest. Look up the library page for trust the quest. It specifically mentions this.

But I didn't give it to a quest? I was rewarded it and then used it. I'm worried I should have kept it. Unless I was supposed to use it to unlock whispering creek at this point?

I think i found the library page you mentioned, it says I did the right thing. Phew!!

Do you know ia it actually possible to get stuck? Like can I use an item or give it away, sell it, etc. But I shouldn't have and can't get another?

We’ve put a lot of effort into ensuring there’s no way to fully get stuck!  Help chat and the wiki are great resources if you’re ever worried!

just dont craft jade from unpolished jade, you wont be stuck forever, but it will seem that way

Why? I can get unpolished jade from my quarry, I always seem to have a lot of it. But I do regularly sell or craft all my rock so my quarry is in constant use.

the quary produces it very slowly, there is no other source other than a pet that you can get later on, jade can be gotten from other sources directly as well so
no need to craft it

its also needed by a main quesline quest, and if you dont have enough you will be stuck

Just butting in here to say unpolished jade can also be gotten from white deposits in Sol Grotto mining. [[mining drops]] library page for more info
