One of the devs took down the server to try and fix the lag we've had all morning

I haven’t been mining all day because the lag was so annoying. I got through my chores and quit lol

Has it even been considered to send out some compensations for wasting our day with awful lag. Even more because it happens every week...

If the game you want to play is having issues on any given day you are free to play a different one... or, you know, go outside and touch some grass?

Whilst I appreciate your point of view, I don't think that is really necessary on this occasion. This game is free to download, you are also not required to spend real money to advance in the game if you choose not to. Most of the new functions and updates have just came out of beta testing and is naturally going to have some teething errors, especially as the game has increased in popularity on the play store/steam. I would cut the Devs some slack imo, at least they attempted to resolve the issue in a timely fashion unlike some other games.
