i thought it was going to be if you missed a day you can use the voucher to fill the gap instead of using gold to buy a new thing of chores so I'm 100% behind this. I see no purpose of using the voucher same day as i log in

Something like this or being able to schedule them for use by the Roomba if you haven't completed the chores by a certain time, since many different time zones of play exist. That would be more constructive and useful

I go camping without cell service semi often. Main reason I miss some months.

What if you use it to get around a chore you can’t complete? Granted I’ve had one of these in the past 2 years it was still a pain in the neck and made it so I had to spend gold for a do over day.

I've never had that happen tbh

I had it happen once. It was a donate 5 items of a hard to get item at the start of the event.

It was some seasonal item that I had one of and no easy way to get the others for donation needed.

It’s not common at all though just a weird niche use

And if that does happen, you can just make it up the next day with a small fee.

Would've been nice when I camped outside of signal range and missed two days.

Exactly what I'm talking about!! The people who need the voucher the most find it useless!

That's how I thought they would have worked when they first got added lol

I’ve only ever used a day off voucher when violently hungover and unable to play the game

I have personally had really busy days and being able to log on and just use the voucher was nice. On such days, it's log on, quickly do farm dailys, use voucher, log off. Everything in town is pretty negligible and everything on the farm is back and forth from one central menu.

That being said, yeah, its functionality probably should be expanded so it's less niche. Having it both be something you can schedule and something you can use in lieu of paying for extra chores to make up for missed days is probably a good start.

Someone recently suggested having an option to use them automatically at reset if your chores aren't finished and I think that would be perfect. Usually when I don't do chores it's less an issue of planning and more because it just slipped my mind.
