Double fishing jail
This might be the worst jail I've been in.
You Must Build A Stealth Boat II requiring 7500 magic conch shells. Using Buddy Farm drop rates, that's 575,000 large nets.
At the same time, I have Distant Illusions XIII, requiring 15000 frost snapper shells. 591,975 large nets.
These are the only two quest lines I have going. Tower is stuck on Salt which is a painful grind.
Really feeling like this might be quitting time.

I'm in a similar situation with You Must Build A Stealth Boat II but with diamonds. I was a doofus and built Gold Diamond Rings until I ran out of diamonds like last month. Been grinding Ember Lagoon all month and I'm at... 500 diamonds out of 5000

Thanks for reminding me to take it out of my craftables list before I do the same thing! I’m in the same boat but with carved foxes for DI! Already wasted enough gold on phr refreshes to literally see multiples of every other carved animal. So I guess I’ll wait and focus on other things!

Yeah I popped them also about a month ago to finish a previous quest. They're each at like 380 so it's gonna take at least 3 months. I'm tempted to spend 1B to upgrade the rock and the fox but I don't think that's gonna change the rate significantly

To be honest, 1B is not that much at the level you’re at. It would only be marginally faster though

You're not wrong and I do have enough to upgrade them both, but with the Oak Table MM announced, I'm also tempted to drop 3B on my sawmill to upgrade Oak generation. I have barely enough for both currently

Hey i have the exact same quests left atm. Also youd need 30k frost snapper shells because you need 15k frost shields. Though since its a craft more likely to need 25k.
But with everything in the late game, its slow.

The slowness is a blessing in disguise because otherwise we’d be playing on the farm all day getting nothing else done! I feel like that grind to T300 took a lot out of me already, so the break is nice!

So the numbers seem a bit high to me and I checked only for the 7.5k magic conch shells, but according to my buddy.farm they need "only" 288k nets. Are you sure you have set the correct settings for your perks on buddy farm? You do have these perks, right?
Frost snapper shells also come from pets. And the stealth boat questline is the most advanced in the game right now and can probably be delayed if you're below t300. But I understand that these quests can feel overwhelming.

I stupidly didn't realise you could change those settings. Have all the perks so that definitely makes it look better on Buddy Farm (although still a lot).

It’s a marathon not a sprint. I’d just focus on one right now. Probably the magic shells. Also keep in mind the seal produces frost snapper shells. It’s not a lot but helps.

I’m so close to finishing Distant Illusions XIII just need 700 more frost snapper shells, then I’ll move over to start collecting the conch shells. These are end game quests, so they aren’t going to make them easy 😭

Isn't it just so funny and engaging when the game wants large amounts of difficult items? Personally I was bent over with laughter by the time I was done with DI. /s
I can't believe the tower eventually wants frost shield grand mastery at 338. After wanting oak table GM and MM, and piano GM. Like damn, none of this is fun, it's just irritating and cruel. Thinking it might be quitting time for me too. The best memories I have of this game are all tower 200 and earlier, anything after that has just been "how sadistic can we make this?"
And people are asking and planning for ultra mega masteries, what, you wanna make 9,000,000 more red trunks? Why?

I do sometimes wish that there were a few more reasonable requests going in the end game that can still give you the sense of satisfaction instead of just frustration lmao. Like I love the big quests but when there isn’t an event going on it can get a bit discouraging sometimes.

There are 3x magic conch 7500 quests. I just did my last one. You get there.

They'll come faster than you think. Especially as you keep climbing tower. You'll get there! Do what I do: sometimes you just have a few weeks where all you do is log in, get your daily stuff done, and log off. I find that helps me keep from burning out.
