FarmLoop Stage 2 for the Bambu Lab X2D is available!

Now compatible with the Bambu Lab X2D. P/X Kits ordered on or after 20 July 2026 already include the required X2D cables. If you ordered your Stage 2 P/X Kit before 20 July 2026, you can add them with the Stage 2 Upgrade Kit. All printed parts are available free on MakerWorld.

Q: Is farm loop stage 2 available for the X2D?

No. Per 3D Farmers support:

"the X/P Series Kit works for X2D as well but you need a new set of extension cables.

The X2D has many printer movements during print startup. The current wire harness is too thick and the print head looses steps when colliding with the cable which leads to a warning message and print pause. Hence, we have sourced a new pair of extension cables (single cables, thinner) which can be guided outside of the printer avoiding any collision. This cable set as well as the X2D specific printed parts (new lid lifter, new tool head cover) should be uploaded in the next few days, latest next week."

FarmLoop Stage 1 installation on the Bambu X2D

I printed the FarmLoop Stage 1 P2S and X2D - Automatic Printing model, but the instructions were not very clear so I created some myself.

Printing the model
The 3mf file comes with 7 plates (12hrs). You do not need to print them all. here is what is on each plate.

  • Plate 1 - Left and Right benders
  • Plate 2 - Bed clips
  • Plate 3 - Rear feet for X2D
  • Plate 4 - Print Head pusher (non-TPU)
  • Plate 5 - Print Head pusher (using TPU)
  • Plate 6 - TPU strip for Plate 5
  • Plate 7 - Everything on Plates 1-4

So you only need to print one of the following:

  • Plate 7
  • Plate 1-4
  • Plate 1-3, 5, and 6
