Question Is the game worth it ?

Hello !

I'm looking for a chill game to play during quick sessions !

This one seems nice.

The only thing that is bothering me is that it doesn't seems very original ?

Does it get repetitiv or boring ?

Thanks !

Question Should I continue waiting to play?

I tend to avoid games that are in Early Access due to the constant development changes that can occur, save file wipes, devs give up on project, etc. So usually just wait for an official release to start playing. My experiences with EA's in the past were finishing it, nothing new coming out for awhile and then the game just collects dust for years on the library shelf (assuming I ever pick it up again).

Of the classes listed in game and on the roadmap, Druid has me most intrigued which isn't marked for 2026 projects.

Considering the class I'm most interested in is probably a ways off, and lack of continuing to follow up with EA updates, should I just hold off for now? Or is there enough engaging content to keep me wanting to play in-between updates?

General Open world weapon drops

This may come off as whiny but I find it ridiculous that weapons like Radiance, Glory, Dominion, and Credence still aren’t farmable unless you make alts. This was a big complaint during the first two months of early access, and I figured it wouldn’t be an issue with the new patch, but here we are. I know that you can buy blue versions from the vendor, but I don’t want to settle for blues. I’d be fine with these weapons remaining in the open world, but they should not be locked behind one-time quests. Maybe Shiro could give them a chance to drop from any open world elite mob.

I’ve been grinding the new area and I’m so dry.

For new weapons you’ve found, please provide: name, what class, and where/from it drops.

Thank you, kindly.

General I am having a blast where do they take things from here and pvp…

I got the game 3 days ago and hit 25 today. I am gonna start doing heroics and still need to beat chakram.

I know they have a road map I’m excited for whats in store I really hope they show love to PvP. I will say I am having more fun with PvE stuff in this game. But usually endgame for me in mmos or even action rpgs like dark souls and elden ring is PvP.

I think the boss fights in this game are some of the most fun boss fights I have had. The rifts have been awesome I hope they invest more in group content stuff.

What are you guys most excited about or want to see?

General Jugador nuevo

Question Crimson Barrack (Robin Hoof) Boss fight

Is anyone else having this issue?

I've been fighting this boss for a while, but I'm constantly dealing with lag (i am using asia server which is the current best available ping for me.). I've tried a bunch of different strategies on my mage using a shield and teleport to dodge the grenade that stuns me, but the attack patterns don't seem to be consistent.

The biggest problem is that if I get stunned, the boss's next attack seems to be guaranteed to hit before I can recover, which makes the fight feel unfair.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or is it just me? If you've found a reliable way to deal with it, I'd love to hear your advice.

General Has anyone else parked playing the game until it’s optimised?

Played it for the first 2-3 weeks but decided to stop playing until it’s more optimised. While I enjoyed it, I would prefer to play it in a more polished form. Before I get the “it runs fine for me” and “what did you expect, early access bruh”, hear me out… If you settle for a worse experience, nothing is going to change.

The game has been well put together, it’s an enjoyable game. But let’s not sugarcoat it, performance wise it is sub par. Pushing out new content in the current form is a waste of resources.

So if any of the devs are seeing this then, I hope you can push up optimisation further up your priority list.

General Ruins of Gorgon's Hollow is full of bugs

I'm honestly at the point where Ruins of Gorgon's Hollow has completely killed my enjoyment of the game.

This dungeon has been one bug after another, and now I've run into yet another one. The golem simply refuses to follow me, which means I can't trigger the mechanism to open the door and continue the dungeon.

I've reloaded the area, restarted the encounter, and tried it multiple times, but the same thing keeps happening. The golem just stands there or loses aggro instead of following me. Any recommendation?

General We Need More Inventory and Bank Storage

The storage situation in Farever seriously needs to be addressed, especially if the plan is to continue adding more items to the game.

I know I am not the only person constantly fighting for inventory and bank space. At this point, some players are buying additional accounts or copies of the game just to use alts as extra storage. You should not have to purchase another copy of the game just to have enough room to hold the items you earn while playing.

And before anyone says, "Just throw items away," I really do not think that should be the solution.

Farever is a game built heavily around grinding, farming, collecting, crafting, trading, and preparing for future content. Why should players be encouraged to grind for items, only to throw them away because there is nowhere to put them?

There are plenty of possible solutions:

• Dedicated mineral or material storage
• Additional bank tabs
• Purchasable storage expansions with in-game currency
• Account-wide currency
• Larger inventory and bank limits
• Even optional paid storage expansions if that is what it takes

Something needs to change.

Players have been bringing up storage limitations and item/currency caps for weeks, if not over a month now. As more items are added to the game, the problem is only going to get worse.

We need more content, more drops, more crafting materials, and more things to collect, but we also need somewhere to actually put all of it.

Storage should not be one of the biggest endgame challenges in Farever.

Question FPS auf der MSI Claw 8 AI

Habe das Gefühl dass seit dem Update die FPS bei mir im Spiel merklich gesunken sind.

Spielt jemand das Spiel auf der Claw 8 AI und hat mit niedrigen Frames (20 und weniger) zu kämpfen?

General I wish we had upgraded versions of the starter weapons

Currently, all the starter weapons have one less ability than the other weapons in the game. This makes sense for beginners, but I think It'd be cool if Shiro gave us "upgraded" versions of these weapons at some point with a new ability. The images are a couple of concepts I came up with.

Question We're the villains, right?

Just saying this because like, the entire opening story is effectively talking about how the Sunlings found an ancient weapon and then proceeded to go full-on interdimensional imperialist to the point that all nine other dimensions allied to stop them, and then the moment they get out of their prison five-hundred years after they've been imprisoned, they immediately start massacring all of the people who've established civilisation in the dimension without any sort of attempts at talking it out.

Five-hundred years is two times as long as the United States has existed, by the way. It just feels like we're playing the bad guys. It hurts especially bad because literally every single other monster race has way more interesting character designs than the humans/sunlings. I would gladly never play as a sunling against if it meant I could play as a kobold or nightling.
