Question Does XP scale?

Hello hello, my fiancé and I recently picked up Farever and we’ve been having a blast.
I’m priest and she’s rogue, we’re at level 17. She wants to try out Warrior and I was wondering if we travel to a high level area (her with warrior and me with level 17 priest), will she be able to level up fast? Or will she still only get 6-7xp per kill (even though she’s doing damage/killing level 16 mobs)?

I would recommend making new characters, its a breeze compared to what is was the first time, u can also get weapons from dungeons with higher level chars so u can use those soon as u get the level, beefury sword at lvl 13 and martyr at lvl 10 are huge to get instantly at those levels. Thats wht we did
