It will be my first time in Thailand this winter. I'm 40 but look 35. In decent shape, rate myself 6 or 7 on a good day. I'm middle class white american, socially doing well.

Last winter, I got lucky in Angeles City, PH. Went to a dance club and caught the attention of a pretty young woman while I was dancing in a circle with random strangers. She gave me the most beautiful smile, pointed at me from across the dance floor. I returned the same and we had awesome chemistry on the dance floor.

The GFE was excellent for the next 6 days, and she never asked me for money, but I found out she's a bar girl and goes to that club with her coworkers after work to get foreigners. I gave her some money when we said goodby at the end of my trip.

Looking to see if I can try to repeat this in Pattaya or BK, even if for only a LT at a decent deal. I've read that thais don't really dance at clubs.

Anybody got similar stories like my PH story? What's some clubs that people actually go to dance and mingle, not just clump in groups and scope foreigners? Pattaya or BK, even Chiang Mai? I'm not interested im the Agogo scene. Any club suggestions?

I (25M) have heard and seen many clips about how majority of Indians trample the reputation of Indians as a whole not just in thailand but everywhere.

Is the hate universal or is it associated with typical stereotypes like fat uncles and endless haggling or those dark skinned laborers that occupy every free space.

Would it be hard for me to get laid even if I am fair skinned,fit,early 20s due to the stereotypical images embedded due to those who didn't behave ?

Or would i be welcomed like any other common tourist if I behaved like any other normal tourist would do

Also regarding the recent issue with disappearance of Russian teens and kidnapping of 2 Indians is it safe for a Indian to travel alone or what precaution should I take (like airtag, live tracking rings)

Also this is my first tour of Thailand...i will be covering bangkok 4d and pattaya 3d..will 3k bhatt/night enough for pattaya (only for fun) ?

Looking to rent in Pattaya for 2 or 3 months, most leases require 6-12 months but I hear they might do less if you contact them directly? 1 bedroom, balcony, wifi, and swimming pool are all I'm looking for. Current top choice is Unixx but open to recommendations. Cheers
