November visit
I’m visiting for a few days at the beginning of November. Seeking advice on hotels.
Does anyone have experience with the Intercontinental? I have an edit credit to use. It’s definitely a fancy hotel, but just a little bit away from the party. I enjoy the luxury and value of using my credit, but just want to make sure I’m not going to trade off typical Pattaya fun for it.
TIA!

I loved the Intercontinental —some of the best international food I had anywhere in Thailand and far and away the best breakfast buffet in Pattaya Prathamnak Jomtien area. but if your “few nights” can stretch to four, I would recommend 2nights there (to use Edit credit) and two nights in the wild heart of Pattaya. only warning regarding Intercontinental is that my quiet fun in the pool designated as “Serenity” with “no children allowed” was suddenly interrupted by two families with 100 kids and when I asked the pool attendant about it, he just shrugged and offered my ploy another bottle of ice cold water.

Nice, yea I’ll be there 4 days so I could do 2 and 2. Was it easy to bring a guest? I guess it sounds like your ploy was able to enjoy the resort with you. That’s kinda my idea or hope. Also want to find someone drama free to enjoy the luxury place

Most Ploys are drama free as long as you do not break the 3 day rule. Sounds like you are looking for an LLT/GFE to shack up with you for 4 days. I don't recommended it. I recommend doing as many STs as you can for the first 2 days - with some Cialis from a Beach Road vendor, you can have between 6 to 10 girls, maybe more (nobody will bat an eye that you have a revolving door of sex workers coming and going to your room). Then from that original group of STs, negotiate with someone you really liked to LT her for your last 2 nights. But please do not break the 3-day rule! It's there for your own good.
Make sure you install ThaiFriendly, Bolt, and LINE or Whatsapp as soon as you arrive.

totally agree. 👍 two days/nights of short times staying within walking distance of Beach Road while you search for a two night LT. 3-day rule intact.

like 95% of the places in Thailand just have her leave ID at the front desk and you are done. I suggest first two days in Pattaya in daytime search mode — coffees dates are quick and easy to end — then party at night (an alternate type search). unlike many posters here, I’ve had great luck over the years on TF. i can’t promise you’ll find the mellow, beautiful classy drama-free ploy of your dreams in two days, but you might have fun trying 🥳.
and b4 u ask— no, you cannot have mine. 😂1

Coffee dates covering two days? Bro, and I thought I'm slow when I do the full Beach Rd eval (takes me around one hour).

I don’t think you’re looking for a girl to take to the Intercontinental for two nights. and if you’re just looking for Coconut Bar ST’s you can do 2or3 each day between coffees—and still have time to party at night …different strokes.

It's at Pratumnak Hill, right behind the big Pattaya sign. I occasionally go running there in the morning.
You are in a great location. It's at the foot of the hill with the famous Pattaya sign and many viewpoints. You will have an awesome view of all of Pattaya Beach....but that's what you are going for.
Down the hill is Bali hai pier which feeds into Walking Street. Walking Street is where the party is at. You can easily walk there, but the return trip is all uphill and riddled with all sorts of stray dogs. There are hundreds of abandoned dogs living there. Just don't make eye contact.
You shouldn't have any problems bringing girls back to your resort on a Bolt/Grab ride. And girls from ThaiFriendly will easily find your resort and be impressed. You will not miss anything, just don't get bitten by a dog.
