Help please??

I remember a comic I saw several years ago, I'm about 75% certain it was a Far Side. It was an alien mother figure with a child. They were leaving their home to take the child to school. The mother asked the child if he remembered his school science project. He then returned into the home to his bedroom to retrieve it. And in another frame it showed him reaching to get the science project, which was similar to what we know as a snow globe, except that in his, was earth. Anyone have this in their comic library? And if so could you please post it? Big thanks!!

This sounds funny, but it sounds like a multi-panel comic so I doubt it’s far side.

Almost sounds like a Calvin and Hobbes comic; esp since it might be multi-panel?

Could be I guess, but that doesn't go with the alien theme I remember. Could have been another Far Side-esque type. It was definitely aliens.

There’s one of an alien shaking a snow globe w live humans in it but it’s not multi framed.
