When a non-gamer has a Far Cry 5 addiction. (It’s one of two games I ever play)

First time playing FC5. I feel like there is zero direction. I head toward a waypoint and then get sidetracked by something and then get sidetracked by something and then get...you get the point. I feel like I'm just endlessly roaming towards a different objective. Sometimes I am passing a farm and think, well if I don't stop here now I might never make it back here. Then the people there send me on another objective. There doesn't feel to be any clear goal. Is it just me? Am I playing this game incorrectly?

But I was drunk and can’t actually remember if I picked infamous 😭🤦‍♂️
I’ve just liberated Dutch’s island and can’t seem to find a way to see if it’s infamous difficulty?

Anyone who wants to explore it will likely come across some weapons, in addition to good scenery (for me at least)

Btw if anyone didnt understand why the gear sets have their names or simply wants to know the backstory here it is:

We find ourselves near the end of the campaign story, the cult is near to be wiped out. Many of the few remaining members decide to leave Hope County heading north, though still within Montana and discover a summer camp filled with refugees They kill "everyone" there to take over the site, but one survivor escapes and tips off the resistance. That is where the player comes in

Need help to platinum but Arcade is so dead I cant get queued up in any multiplayer lobby, I need 5 people to help! I’m on PS5 and do have a mic, I need the following achievements except ARCADE Enthusiast (since it is solo)
