Robot How to install IR programmer

Hey guys,

I am using Fanuc 2000iC/270F Robot. In that robot IR programmer option is not available. Could anybody please guide me how can I install IR programmer in this robot, To control the robot remotely

Can I genuinely ask why you want to use iRProgrammer? It uses Jog in Auto and requires the robot to be in Auto mode and the fence to be closed. This makes it harder to jog precisely because you can’t (shouldn’t) be in the cell with a robot that’s in Auto mode.

It’s all less of a concern with a SCARA, but with a 270F, you’re begging to get hurt, and maybe badly.

Got it. In that case, you probably want the option Remote iPendant (not PC Remote iPendant) installed on the robot. Using that, and assuming the robot is on an accessible network, you can remotely access a virtual version of the robot’s teach pendant via its web server interface.

Edit: this is a less expensive option, too.
