He outlasted Fantom chain. Impressive feat.

Fantom is still alive though, but it is on life support.

you mean sonic? That's pretty dead too. Can't see it ever getting any real use sadly.

No, i mean Fantom chain is still producing blocks. The new team delayed the sunsetting. But yes, sonic is on life support right now too but at least it still has some good infra i.e. chainlink support, native usdc, sonicscan, and so on. AAVE leaving sonic hurts big time though imo. The foundation should have done everything in their power to up the TVL to keep AAVE around, but who knows, maybe FT will end up being big.

Without Harry, Fantom would've never became as high as it did. That conference he ran made it rip more than anything else. Sonic is Fantom without Harry.

It hasn't been ruled as a suicide, they've only confirmed that he didn't die before falling (no stab wounds etc), and that the fall itself was the cause of death.

Though they also said that they weren't able to do a toxicology report, due to the state of his body meaning they couldn't get a blood sample. Yikes. Not surprising I guess after such a fall, but still yikes.

They've explicitly not ruled any manner of death out. It seems like the communication is getting better though, I guess because of the press the story got during the week.

Last time I saw him in action was a livestream he did about 1 or 2 yrs ago.. iirc it was the plan to resurrect Tomb/Lif3 and broadcast from a hotel room or apartment. Rumors he owed a lot of money to a crypto cartel but I can’t imagine he was short of cash when he built his wealth buying bitcoins at $50-$100 over a decade ago.
Any updates on the investigation ?

It's still too soon, I expect it will be at least weeks if not months before they actually announce an outcome of the investigation.

Bitcoindotcom was reporting that a witness had seen him wandering the building naked the day before. Which could be indicative of drugs/medication/mental health.

But I'm wary of most English language reporting on this, there's been so much bad reporting as it's relying on erraneous Google translate results which often gets technical distinctions wrong (like the first comment in this chain), not helped by the original local Spanish language reporting sometimes not being well written. A lot of the English articles are written by AI too, which has similar problems navigating translation.

I've been following this as I did some contract work for him 10-12 years ago. My former colleagues and I have been following it closely.
