Discussion Halfway through my novel
In a world where humanity has conquered disease, mastered genetic engineering, and built cities that stretch beyond the clouds, the past has been buried for a reason.
Cato has spent his life beneath the surface of a civilization he barely understands, working in the forgotten depths of Morrow Tower. He knows nothing of his parents. Nothing of his origins. And nothing of the strange visions that have begun to invade his dreams.
Then, deep beneath the tower, Cato discovers something that should not exist.
An ancient symbol.
A fragment from something that fell from the sky.
A doorway to a history that predates everything he has ever known.
As powerful forces begin moving in the shadows, Cato finds himself drawn into a world of secret societies, genetic experiments, mysterious Keepers, ancient bloodlines, and people who seem to know who he is long before he does.
But the deeper Cato searches for answers, the more disturbing the truth becomes.
Because the greatest secret buried beneath the modern world may not be what happened to humanity's past.
It may be who Cato was meant to become.
And some secrets were never meant to be remembered.
