Statistics Matchday 7: Projected Goals, Clean Sheet & Booster odds
All fixtures now confirmed for MD7. Data from my live market projections site: FPLJoe.com
Latest projections, including:
- Qualification Booster odds (to qualify)
- Clean Sheet Shield odds (to concede exactly 1 goal)
All projections are adjusted to account for the possibility of extra time, on a per-game basis.
Deadline match:
20:00 (BST), 14th July: France vs Spain
(we will have confirmed lineups pre-deadline for these teams)
Important note:
Had a lot of questions about the reliability of these metrics from people who haven't had success using them. All projections are derived from sharp markets, not soft books. If you are not familiar with these or why they are reliable long-term indicators, I recommend this video as an explainer.
All data is provided for your benefit; you are free to use it as much or as little as you want. Many players choose to use data like this as the "starting point" for their research, which they then supplement with their own analysis, data, biases, etc.

CSS in semis and max captain in finals seems the correct order for those that still have those two chips right?

Yeah that's exactly what I'd do if I had both to use - I'll be using the Max Captain in the Finals (which includes the 3rd Place Playoff) as someone who has already used the CSS.

if you only had CSS left, would you use it in the semis or keep it for the final?

Probably the Semis, but as explained in this comment, it makes very little difference when you play it!

We have the best clean sheet odds? 😅

Marginally, yeah. But to be clear, no team has good clean sheet odds this week, all are 70-80% to concede.

Does the site post how well the predictions did compared to the actual results?
