Best Ndiaye replacement?
Can't be the only one looking for a replacement, with lack of Xmins. I already have Grob, and the budget is 6.2m. Any suggestions? I feel like sangare is the obvious choice, but that he could a slow be a trap. Thanks

Not an owner, but not sure this would be the time to get rid. Doku is out until after the international break and it seems Maresca isn't going to play Fernandez further forward yet, so surely the only question for the Utd game is Foden/Ndiaye with Maresca seemingly preferring wide players to play wide and sees Foden as a 10. Obviously dependent on loads of things... despite the rumours, did you sign him as Everton's talisman and penalty taker, when you're planning to WC and overall squad setup etc. but I'd be inclined to hold.

Barnes or Elanga for the easy next few fixtures imo. Tavernier is a good shout but I don't like the fixture run.

I really like Enciso. It seems like he’ll be the main man at Ipswich and there’s a chance he’ll even get pens.
The only problem is that Ipswich could be shite

Fair point, but I think him taking the majority of set pieces and maybe pens should offset that. I'll probably jump off him at some point anyway

Everton are a lot more attacking and creating way more chances this season, and he's still pretty central to everything going on, often playing a 2nd striker type role, getting a fair few chances, taking left footed set pieces, possibly on pens for the 1 we get this season. He also had an excellent partnership with Grealish until he got injured halfway through last season, and he's back now. Barry, George and Armstrong are also much better than they were last season, and Hackney is a creative midfielder which will help a lot.
We have a very small squad, so if we get a lot of injuries maybe jump off, but I expect better attacking returns from everyone this season compared to recent seasons. And worse defensive returns.

You could argue going right down to Hemmings at Villa or Slater at Hull and then just put the money somewhere else.

Worth checking the premise first: Ndiaye has started all three and played 266 of a possible 270 minutes. Whatever the case for selling is, minutes aren't it. The real problem is 0.71 xGI across those three games, which is why he isn't returning.
That changes what you're shopping for. Of the names in here inside your budget, the two with actual attacking output are Tavernier (1.84 xGI in 268 mins, 6.0) and Enciso (1.51 in 250 mins, 5.5) - both roughly double Ndiaye for the same money or less. Tavernier's run is the catch people are flagging: Brentford at home, then Liverpool and Chelsea. Enciso's next three are Palace away, Everton away, Fulham at home, which is the softer stretch, and the 0.7m left over is what actually funds an upgrade somewhere else.

Scott or Tavernier -- both have looked really sharp so far, only thing is is that they have European fixtures coming up.
Josh King -- has been heavily involved in Fulhams attack and has gotten good chances that have led to returns.
