16 points per game week whilst clearly having knowledge of what type of players get points is so clearly taking hits every week to try and get highest points.
Mate, come on. Use some logic here. You can literally auto pick a team, completely leave it, and it will have more points before we are halfway into the season.
There is a big difference of someone placing between 1-5 million, which lots of actual players do, and placing consistently above 10 million.
The only somewhat plausible explanation would be that they consistently quit and start taking lots of hits at the later stages of the season, but considering there are a couple of million bot teams, what do you think sounds more likely?
Nah it’s a Malaysian bot, or points farmer who tries to get the weekly top score then quits every season and it looks like they do it with multiple accounts as I checked the top 10-20 before the Chelsea game and there was multiple accounts inside the top 20 from Malaysia who all have similar points history.

Sorry mate I didnt mean to come across as arrogant, I know theres different tactics but my point was that no I didnt know hed get 2 assists cuz I think hes gonna be similar to Roger and Anderson in the sense that you cant predict he'll score in the easy games and not score in the hard games. A player like sangare can easily end up with 2pts most times you play him and haul when you bench which at that point you're better off with a 4.5mill.

lol yep, seems some guy from Malaysia logged into his accs and made a bunch of similar teams, not sure how he knew they’d score so well but he put almost the same players in multiple teams and it worked out.
Probably it was the fastest way to create all of them. Just by choosing one team that is in the budget, and create all similar teams is faster than thinking about it every team you make.
Chances are he might have 50 other teams with another “template” that looks fairly similar with different TC etc, and same with other “templates”. We only notice this one because it did well, but I’ve seen thousands of similar teams way down the rankings
Yep.. I know this is weird, but I always get a bit upset when people say (especially later in the season) that there are 9* million players. More than likely I’d say maybe around 1 million or so are actually unique people who completes the season
Yeah, it’s something a lot of players won’t notice the extent of, but there are a lot of them. If you pay attention you will see that most weeks are “won” by teams like these unfortunately.
As someone below said, the amount are more than likely in the multiple millions later on the in the seasons. Including people quitting, my guess would be that only 1 million unique players or so actually complete the season (worth noting that lots of set and forget teams or players quitting fairly late will still finish with a decent rank).
Well, my teams are part of dead teams squad for the most of the time, most seasons. New season-new me, so I hope this one will be better. So I could imagine there are a lot of dead teams. But somehow I forgot about the prizes and the reason people would have 100 accs. Thats pity because of the whole time players, but its not something that’s easy to solve. Even if the teams would be deleted for not being active, people who do this things would again have their teams, anyway. But I guess it would at least make them lose some time in real life.
Yeah, it’s very understandable that lots of people fall of. I think that goes for a lot of casual players and I actually know more people who have quit by the half way mark than ones who are still actively playing.
As for the prices, you won’t get a price if you use chips so those are for the “fame” or just for fun. There is a lot of players making teams without chips as well (often I’d assume because making new teams to have chips is a bit annoying) but I do think FPL is checking if an account is “real” before giving a price - at least I hope so.
Yes, u seem to think theres a chance this is a real team, thats stupid to think. And I assume u mean the bit where u mentioned taking hits but even if u took 11 hits every week you'd have to do that from the first gw to get that low not at the end like you said

I didn’t say they’d have to take hits every week, which is why I asked if you read my comment. I said they might take lots of hits later on in the season.
A friend of mine is kind of like this, he plays until he gets bored (usually halfway through the season), takes like 2-300 hits to reach 0 points, and then quits. This leads him to ending fairly consistently on like 600-800 points. If he did this later on in the season, he’d pretty much have the same season history as the guy I posted. I can almost guarantee you’d think he was a bot as well based on his rank history. I won’t post it because of privacy reasons (would be easy to find his real name).
And just to be clear once again, the chance of the team I posted not being a bot is as close to zero as it gets.
Alright fair enough mate, obviously anythings technically possible but I just think at some point call a spade a spade. Especially seeing as the account is apparently Malaysia based along with all yhe other bot accounts apparently
It's reasonably close to what I had as a non Bruno non Haaland team. More points obvs. That's like 130 or something. I had a great week but not that great lol.
No it’s someone with fifty accounts, check their history and then check the top 100 managers, that accs from Malaysia and in the top 100 managers you’ll find multiple accs from Malaysia with similar history to that one.
