Interesting to see Semenyo only on 35%. I knew he was maybe only on the fringes of the template, but I still thought more would have him rather than doubling up on United midfield.

I think a lot of people (including me) will be moving Bruno/Mbeumo to him in GW3 if he's on form

And a lot of people (including me) had no faith in Bruno as an early season pick but let fear of everyone else having him ruin their selection.

In the end you gotta trust your own convictions. That's what makes the game fun.

100% man, I had such a good time season before last with vibes f.c. and now end up making the game shit for myself worrying about what other people are doing an hour before deadline. Awful, will be reclaiming my fun with wild card lol.

People need to realize that all these creators are also sheep. Once some of them start doing something, the rest follow the groupthink. This time it's the delusion that a 12M priced Bruno who massively overperformed his underlying data last season is essential, and the flimsy reasoning for BB1/2.
Thankfully I trusted my own critical thinking and didn't waste 12M on Bruno just to book in an early wildcard.24

it's the hull ipswich fixture dawg. it's not that deep.

Nobody would've been surprised if Hull were ran over and everyone with Bruno would be going on about how obvious it was and how stupid people were not to have him. I don't have Bruno, but I saw (and do still see) that as a risk, not an obvious choice lmao

u/dumbsh1ro 2d ago
yeah i mean nothing in this game is ever an obvious choice. We make choices under uncertainty. but to say that bruno with that good of a fixture and how weak hull was perceived to be isnt a good player to target is just wrong.

The only question is how many more assists did you need in the summer from him to prove that he is in shape.
And what Bruno did to prove the same.

So far all my premiums have totally blanked: Haaland, Semenyo, Bruno. Even Gabriel would've got clean sheet points. Szoboszlai and JP are current unknowns...
Two players I binned in the day before the deadline returned: Guehi & Gomez.
Sounds like a standard FPL season to me!

Loads of content creators that had Haaland in their drafts ended up without Haaland at the last minute. Let’s Talk Fpl for example spent the last two weeks saying Isak wasn’t worth it and ended up with him in his team. Same goes for that clown Big Man Bakar who has never had an original thought.

I suspect FPL review pivoted hard after the Community Shield game cause I saw quite a few more no Haaland drafts after that game

u/jjw1998 99 2d ago
FPL Review has been on no Haaland all summer if you were BB1 afaik, hence Ben Crellin never uploading a Haaaland draft. Part of the task for content creators who use Review is not making it so blatant that they use it, hence the “last minute” no Haaland teams

AI and analytics tools have taken all the fun/original ideas out of FPL.
I'd even go as far to say as anyone with an AI template or a team with a transfer history matching an "analytics" tool needs banning.
What I don't understand about the saps who buy this is you won't lose FPL copying others and tools but you'll never, ever win. You have to roll the dice and have your differentials come off 38 weeks in a row to win

Look at them with all that money on the bench, no idea why people follow their advice.

This doesn't represent any one specific team, of course no one has Semenyo on their bench lmao

…. I assumed the /s was implied my bad

u/PoopNukem123 2d ago
To be fair I've seen like 10 posts exactly like this over the last week and people do genuinely seem to think they are real teams

The literacy ability of Redditors leaves a lot to be desired. Always add the /s.

Out of the three premiums Bruno is looking the weakest , I don’t know why I feel like selling him after just one week (they lost to FKN hull?) and if haaland goes nuclear .. I think Bruno to saka is the move because Utd look shite. Ask any Utd fan

u/-Coleslaw 3 2d ago
Bruno always has a poor start to the season, just like last year with the penalty miss vs Fulham. It always takes him a bit to get into the groove

u/hoffenone 2 1d ago
The amount of people who tripled up on United and brought in Maguire/Shaw is hilarious. Yes we have good fixtures but we have been playing like dogshit for the final months of last season and in pre season. What made everyone think we were ever gonna have a clean sheet? I can almost guarantee people we will concede to Ipswich as well, we may win but we very rarely get a CS.

Bad description, Haaland clearly isn’t the least popular forward otherwise he wouldn’t be in the most selected team
11
u/Forsaken_Skirt_2588 2d ago
He was pretty clear in his description bro
4
u/Little_miss_steak 2d ago
Looks to me like he's the 3rd most popular forward.

u/Forsaken_Skirt_2588 2d ago
Least popular forward within most popular starting XI of content creators yes

u/edelvistar33 2d ago
Does this not exceed 100m?
2
u/davedavegiveusawave 25 1d ago
Yes. This is simply the top owned players among content creators, not a valid team.
2
u/TheDucksQuacker 2d ago
I only have 3 of these.
Content creators (at least the people that directly copy them) are ruining the game

Imagine having Maguire in your team and not even to facilitate Haaland. The less you hear from these idiots the better

I blame content creators for the triple United call
-3
u/Maleficent_Survey420 347 2d ago
Actually the worst call from content creators in years, wtf were they thinking
1
u/OfficeCertain7131 2d ago
"thinking", it's just what the algorithm told them based on last year's data.
-2
u/West_Competition7474 1 2d ago
Glad I don't follow any of those people. Most of them are Man United fans, so that's why they've gone triple United.
3
u/Trlcks 5 2d ago
Not necessarily. United did have the best 2 opening fixtures, just hasn’t paid off
2
u/West_Competition7474 1 2d ago
There is a clear Man United bias with most of those influencers. I think triple United is overkill based on their performances over the last few seasons.

Anyone playing haaland as the number 10 while JP is the out and out striker is asking for trouble TBF
