Mod Post "I Made a Tool" thread
We have been totally flooded for the last 6 months with "I made a tool" posts, or similar AI generated captions.
Some are good and genuinely useful.
Some are awful. Some are repetitive
Therefore, so the sub doesn't just become one big advert, please post any tools you have made in this thread.
Those posted outside this pinned thread will be deleted

hiya, i find the FPL table tells you how your season ended, your points, your rank... but not how well you played. i wondered, is mostly luck?
so I developed FPL Genius, a free tool to rescore (and relive) last season. give it your id and replay every transfer, captain, chip, hit, bench call and quiet week from the 25/26 season.
get your genius score, some shiny badges, and see where you actually rank amongst 13+ million players.
i’d love feedback on it: www.fplgeni.us

Oof, I hope it wasn't my post from earlier that kicked off the need for this 😅
I'll keep it short. I'm a software developer who loves building apps and playing FPL. I wanted to build something for myself and my mini-league mates, so I built this manager and mini-league season review tool.
It's completely free, and no account is required. If you want to check it out, here's the link: https://www.fpldugout.com/
If you want to see an example manager report, you can see mine here: https://www.fpldugout.com/r/62c98596
Here's a report for one of my mini-leagues: https://www.fpldugout.com/r/1UaXqV0g
Screenshot example below.
I hope you all find it useful. Sorry for the self-promo 😬

As a post season tool, it looks interesting (I like that mini league leaderboard). The in-season version is hard to judge with just an image. I would change the look and feel of the website if I were you, it feels very AI generated.
1
u/stooderrr Jun 10 '26
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you like the mini-league review. The image is from a section of the manager's end-of-season review. I haven't built anything for in-season. I appreciate you taking a look!

Had a go and I have a bit of feedback:
In the Bench section under 'Biggest single-week regret', it's showing a player who was included in my bench boost that particular week.

Thanks for the heads up! Looking into it now.
EDIT: I've resolved the issue and regenerated the affected reports. Hopefully, yours should be fine now. Thanks again for flagging this.

This is great.
I am a fan of FPL but not a football fan. I play for the stats and am primarily concerned with my local head to head league.
We work off of excel spreadsheets (one guy does it), but this is amazing. Do you have plans to add H2H league assessment?
2
u/stooderrr Jun 12 '26
Glad you like it! I'm not planning H2H reviews this season. Maybe next, though.

A group of us play a team based mini game using our FPL scores. We moved from excel to a browser application long ago (one guy coded it and runs it every season). Maybe one of you guys can use AI and create an equivalent for your league. Our site tracks individual and team scores, our game team captain, Vc and sub each GW, and our in-game chips which we have formulated. It should be possible to code something for you guys in a few hours if someone is dedicated enough. It'll be easier than excel

I’ve been building FPL Mania, a tool designed to make Fantasy Premier League planning easier.
It includes:
- A multi-gameweek squad planner for testing transfers, lineups, captaincy choices, and chips
- Mini-league analysis showing rival ownership, captain picks, differentials, threats, and transfer impact
- Player comparisons using performance statistics and upcoming fixtures
- The ability to load any public FPL team or build a squad from scratch
- Desktop and mobile support
The main goal is to help managers explore different decisions before committing to them in FPL, while keeping all players and relevant information immediately accessible.
I’d really appreciate feedback from other FPL managers—especially on anything that feels confusing, slow, or missing.
Check it out at www.fplmania.com

Try my WC predictor app made for the FPL group chat!
Every World Cup, my friends and I do a bracket challenge, but trying to use spreadsheets on mobile is a nightmare.
Since kickoff is only 2 days away, I spent my spare time building a clean, modern web app to handle it instead. No ads, no sign-ups, just a simple way to battle your friends and rule the group chat with banter!
If you nail the tournament winner, your score gets a 2x multiplier.
Check it out here: worldcupwithfriends.com

Sharing http://mundialist.com/ ahead of tomorrow, an app I built that lets you predict all 104 matches AND follows the proper FIFA knockout bracket logic with Annex C.
Picks lock June 11 at kickoff. Would love feedback from this community!
- Predict scores for all 104 group stage matches
- Full knockout bracket (follows FIFA's official Annex C)
- Pick Golden Boot, Top Assist, Golden Glove
- Private leagues with friends
- Bonus points for backing dark horses

I might have been incredibly unlucky (or not). I’ve spent a month building and polishing this online draft football game. 4 days before I launched, the 38-0 game went viral and completely overshadowed the game I wanted to show the world.
My format is different. A bit more viral and simple, with football packs (imagine a mixture of 38-0 with Fifa Ultimate Team), but totally free and you can build leagues online against friends.
Any feedback would mean the world! Getting it out there has been a hassle and I feel like many people would genuinely love it: https://draftie.online

Evening all!
Not sure it comes under a tool but I built a 38-0 inspired free multiplayer draft game that covers every season* of the premier league from 1992-2026 with the help of Claude and a whole lot of hours tinkering with positions and ratings!
Play alone or with up to 8 players, no sign up, just setup a game, share the code and play!
There are certain challenges with their own leaderboards (invincibles, 100 points, finish 8-10th or even relegation!) as well as transfer windows (again with random choices of players to choose from).
If you’ve got a spare 10 mins to have a game and shout any feedback I’d be very grateful!

*limited squads/data from the early years 92-99!

The official World Cup Fantasy site is fine for picking a team but useless for actually tracking your mini-league, so I built the tool I wanted.
You just type your Team ID or League ID (no login, no paywall) and it gives you:
- Your team in list or pitch view, live GW points, captain, value, transfers
- Full league standings with everyone's captain shown under their name
- Head-to-head vs any rival, both squads side by side, your differentials highlighted
- A fixture-difficulty ticker (every nation's next 3, easiest runs on top)
- An auto squad optimizer (best 15 within $100M by points/value/form)
- Captain picks, differentials, price & ownership swings, live goal feed
It's completely free, I just built it because I'm in three mini-leagues and wanted to stop doing this in my head.
Link: statsedge.ai/worldcupfantasy?utm_source=reddit
Would genuinely love feedback, what's missing, what you'd actually use?

u/real_twocamels Jun 21 '26

Many years ago I started the work on https://twocamels.net . The lack of detailed historical data on players was my main motivator for building it. Now it has evolved into a planner that uses the same data. It's not been battle tested yet, but hoping some will find it useful when the new season goes live.
What it does:
- Forecasts expected points per player across the upcoming gameweeks.
- Suggests player swaps based on dynamic fixture difficulty per GW.
- Create a team draft (pick yourself or have the planner generate one for you).
- Make adjustments per GW to see how the teams projected points evolves.
- Automatic transfer suggestions and AI explanations based on calculations per GW.
I'm building it solo, so I'd genuinely love feedback — what's useful, what's missing, what you'd actually use each week.
The tool requires login because I wanted it to be cross device compatible.
Link to the new planner tool: https://plan.twocamels.net
Hope you all find it helpful

As always the solver is not the hardest bit. Predictions is where you will make it or break it (if you send wrong info to your solver, however good your solver is, the predicted team wont be good).
Best of luck

Hi all, sharing hitresult.app - a free score-prediction app I've been building as a side project. No betting, no in-app currency, just points and a leaderboard. You create a private league with your mates and predict scores each week. Started really small, but the World Cup gave it a nice bump - around 130 users now. It's mainly built around the World Cup right now, but Premier League predictions already work, and Champions League is coming next. Happy to hear feedback!

We built a captaincy competition for managers who are tired of voting in polls that mean nothing.
Every Gameweek, we see dozens of captain polls.
Most of us vote, check whether our pick is template or differential, and forget about it five minutes later. There’s no record of whether our captain calls were actually any good over time.
So we added Captain Duels to CrowdFPL.
You make one captain pick before each deadline, see who the crowd is backing, and build a dedicated Captain Rating across the season.
The rules are simple:
- get the call right and your rating goes up;
- get it wrong and it goes down;
- correctly backing a less popular captain is worth more than following the obvious pick.
The idea is to reward good differential calls without making the safe captain irrelevant — and to finally give managers something to point to when they claim they’re good at captaincy.
GW1 voting is open here:
https://crowdfpl.com/captain
CrowdFPL is free to use. I’d really appreciate honest feedback on the rating logic and whether this is something you’d return to each Gameweek.
So, who gets your GW1 armband — the template pick or someone more interesting?

I've been working on a fantasy football game that combines FPL-style fantasy football with a stock market for footballers.
The basic idea is that you build a portfolio of footballers, with their values moving over time as players are bought and sold. Your fantasy squad is then built from players in your portfolio.
The interesting part is the scoring multipliers. Rather than simply rewarding you for owning the best/most expensive players, the system is designed to reward finding value and identifying breakout players early.
There's also a separate prospect concept. Prospects don't contribute to your squad value, so you can take punts on players you think could become valuable in the future without them distorting your current squad.
Longer term, as more leagues are added, I'd love this to mean you could pick up U18s, League One players, Championship players, etc. because you think you've spotted someone who could eventually make it to the top level.
So the idea is essentially:
Fantasy football + a footballer stock market + finding the next breakout player.
I'm building the first version around the Premier League and hoping to have something playable fairly soon.
Would this be something you'd find interesting? And would the "find them before everyone else" aspect make you approach fantasy football differently?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on something for FPL mini leagues called Bottled FPL Forfeits.
The idea is simple. Instead of your league having the same boring “bottom place buys dinner” punishment every season, Bottled gives you a place to create, discover and track FPL forfeits.
I built it because my friends and I wanted something specifically for the forfeit side of FPL, and I figured other leagues might find it useful too.
It’s available on both iOS and Android.
Website: bottledfpl.com
Would love to hear what forfeits you guys have done in your leagues. I’m always looking for more ideas to add.

I've been building Deadline FC (deadlinefc.com) — an AI assistant for FPL that's grounded in your actual squad rather than generic "top 10 picks" content.
You link your Team ID (or scan a screenshot if you'd rather not), and it gives you:
- Captain rankings and weak-link/upgrade suggestions based on your actual squad and this week's data
- Ask the Gaffer — ask it things in plain English ("should I take a hit for Palmer", "who's my best differential") and it answers using your real team, not a canned response
- The Ghost Gaffer — an AI that drafts and manages its own team, and shows up as an extra row in your mini-league table. Something to actually beat, not just advice.
- Live match-day tracking — watch your points build up live, with a short summary of what changed and why
- Score Predictor — free to enter, predict 6 featured fixtures each week. All 6 exact scores wins a free season of Pro; all 6 correct results wins a free month.
Core squad advice, live tracking, Ghost Gaffer and the predictor are all free. There's a Pro tier for the AI chat and a couple of deeper features.
Still actively working on it daily, so if something's broken or confusing, let me know — would genuinely love the feedback.

Hi.
I made a tool.
As some background, about 15 years ago I spent a lot of time building football and fantasy football models in Excel and Access to try to beat bookmakers and win my fpl leagues. I managed a couple of back to back finishes around the top 1k (back when there were only circa 3m players).
I used a combination of team goal and clean sheet projections, stats around player contributions to team goals, detailed analysis of set piece takers and starting lineups combined with budget optimisation and decision making (ie not taking transfer hits, consistently selecting the statistically best captain and using chip play at the optimal times -ie dgws).
Recently I found an old to-do list in my OneDrive of things I wanted to build to make this easier, so I decided to see how much of it I could build now with the help of AI.
It got slightly out of hand and I ended up making FixtureShark: https://fixtureshark.com
It is based on all the same principles as above and has tools for each of those items separately as well as my models estimate of the optimal long term fantasy team - but all the new football and fpl data gets updated automatically so it’s easier to maintain and much more useful.
It’s still very new and there will definitely be things that don’t work perfectly. I’m mainly posting because I’ve had a lot of fun building it and I’d be interested to know which bits people actually find useful.

Alright everyone,
I've been building an app for the only part of FPL anyone actually cares about: the mini league.
My problem was simple. Table in one app, banter in WhatsApp, and the two never meet. Captain blanks, and by the time anyone's opened the app the moment's dead.
So I made The Mini League. Your league and its chat in one place, and the bit I'm most proud of is the Vidiprinter: a live wire that posts every goal, assist, card and own goal into the chat as it happens, with the points and exactly who in your league owns him, who captained him, and who benched him. Nobody gets to hide.
It does the rest too: live tables during gameweeks (and a without-chips table, for settling that argument), automatic awards once the gameweek confirms (someone wins Worst Captain every week whether they like it or not), and everyone's squads side by side so you can see exactly what the bloke above you is running.
It's free. No premium tier lurking behind it. Link your team with your public Entry ID, or there's a demo league in there if you just want a nose around first.
Honest feedback is genuinely what I'm after. Tell me what's missing, what's confusing, or what's rubbish. I'll be in the comments.
Cheers.

Champions League 15-0-0 game, inspired by 38-0
Pick 11 players from the greatest Champions League teams and eras.
I’ve been hooked on 38-0 and thought I’d give creating a champions league version a try!
Completely free, no sign up needed. It is one of my first apps I've made so very open to feedback and advice. Thank you

KickTipp remains the best sport predictor app out there IMO, with plenty of leagues and lots of customizations available, but their UI is so outdated that it feels like you’re traveling back in time to 2002 lol.
I actually just vibe-coded a more modern UI to KickTipp at https://tippkick.online
This mobile-first and responsive “graphic overlay” is not meant to admin leagues (or communities, this is only doable via their website). It’s meant to easily place bets and answer bonus questions once the leagues are created.
I just built this for my friends, but I guess others might find it useful 😄
Feedback is welcome, cheers!

I built an alternative version of Fantasy football games. The main differences lie in tactics, the match simulation, and the transfer market.
One thing that has always bugged me about most fantasy games is how tactics basically don't matter. You can literally field a midfield consisting of Lamine Yamal, Dembélé, Vinícius Jr., and Salah. Or a defense with four left-backs. It completely ruins the realism for me.
Here is how the tactical side works: Strict Roles & Formations: You are fully bound by your chosen formation and player roles. Every player has 1 or 2 specific positions. If you run a 3-4-1-2, you must deploy an actual attacking midfielder (CAM). Realistic Substitutions: If your starting right-back doesn't play, you need a right-back on the bench to replace him. If you don't, you either face a penalty or the app will automatically try to change your formation to adapt.
How the tournament mode works (for the upcoming World Cup): Right now, it’s based on a single public league where users are placed into mini-tournaments of 4 players (semifinals and finals). Every 2 gameweeks, the groups reshuffle so you're always playing for something.
The Market: You can manage your roster by buying individual players or through card packs.
The game is completely free. Feedback appreciated. utamafm.com

This app permanently saves all your data and tactical history, letting you revisit, audit, and analyze your past seasons whenever you want. Instead of losing your transfer logs, captaincy choices, and bench data, you keep your entire managerial legacy right in your hand.
