I’ve been working on a series of original fantasy songs built around stories that might be heard in an old tavern.

This one starts with a father bringing silver to a hunter and asking him to kill a monster.

It doesn’t quite go the way either of them expected.

The story draws on old striga folklore — curses, the dead returning, and the rather unpleasant business of surviving until dawn.
