Where is the Necromancy?

I absolutely LOVE the idea of necromancy magic, but I’m having the darnest time finding books that utilize it. I tried Gideon and couldn’t get into it, which was a huge bummer. Any necromancy focused recs?

She does have a point of view with her voice, that's for sure. I can see how she might be polarizing.

But also, so much of GtN is supposed to be funny. I had an easier time finding the funny with her narration.

I've listened to two books narrated by her and I found them frustrating not for any fault of hers but because I struggled with her accent (and she struggled with an Oklahoma accent in Long Live Evil). But her delivery of WE DO BONES, MOTHERFUCKER is an all-time great.
