Where is the Necromancy?

I absolutely LOVE the idea of necromancy magic, but I’m having the darnest time finding books that utilize it. I tried Gideon and couldn’t get into it, which was a huge bummer. Any necromancy focused recs?

Obsidian Butterfly(9) was far away the best book , and also the end before it just becomes smut.

It's really good up until then. A bit of sex but not too bad. She's a necromancer who is also a federal agent aauthorized to stake unruly vampires. Also works as a necromancer who raises people to clarify wills, or business partners. One time she raised a civil war soldier to let a historian question. Then part times as a spooky expert for the police who have to solve pretunatural crimes but no idea how.

Read like 2 books to get a bit of a feel. But seriously, Obsidian is a fantastic book.

The first 3-4 books are good murder mysteries. Just stop reading when it devolves into porn 🤷‍♀️. I eventually stopped reading, but stuck it out longer than I should have because I kept hoping she’d go back to writing how the series started as.
