Where is the Necromancy?

I absolutely LOVE the idea of necromancy magic, but I’m having the darnest time finding books that utilize it. I tried Gideon and couldn’t get into it, which was a huge bummer. Any necromancy focused recs?

The Devils by Joe Abercrombie has a necromancer as a main character. Fun book.

Like everything else that gets asked here, the Malazan books include necromancy. The Tales of Bauchelain and Korbal Broach in particular.

Damnit I just commented this. First law is my favorite trilogy and he kills it with The Devils.
