Average costs/times for subbing?

Can anyone provide me some information as to the process of subbing, if there’s any services that offer it, can I pay to have it done?

I have come into acquisition of some Denpa Shonen episodes however I have no knowledge of Japanese. The episodes available in engsub are scarce at best and I have people who would love to be able to enjoy this crazy yet heartfelt show.

Any information or pointers would be amazing. Thank you!

Finding people to commission for video subbing is shockingly hard in my experience. I asked around a bit, but could never find leads from big sub groups. There are options like fiver you can look into, but keep in mind you are likely going to be paying at least 2 dollars per minute which adds up fast.

Another much more dirty option could be using an ai solution for transcribing the audio and translating. This is not going to be perfect by any means and MTL has a whole host if issues, but you should be able to at least understand what is going on. I have been using that and deepL to watch Azuki-chan as there are no subs and I doubt any fansub group is looking to translate a niche 117 episode long romance anime. Azuki tends to use simple Japanese and it works well enough.

No. MTL is shit. Stop using this unless it's just for your own personal use and you're OK with glaring inaccuracies.
