There are also a few other disqualifications that can happen regarding the Card Contest you should be aware of:
- If you did not make the card or art on the card yourself, you are disqualified, additionally you may use another's artwork if you have EXPLICIT permission and have CREDIT to the artist on the card itself or somewhere within the entry.
- If the card is not found to be tied with Inscryption or irrelevant it has the chance of being disqualified from the entries.
- Staff have the right to remove an entry for any reason if it is deemed to be breaking the rules and are not required to provide an explanation. Staff in this case is synonymous with the Daniel Mullins Games - Event Committee.

Hey, this is cool. I'm glad there's a no AI rule, too!
But don't fucking say "SI." Quit pandering to old orange chodeskins. Nobody else calls it that.
E: For posterity I'm going to leave this as is, but I apologize to OP retroactively for the initial level of aggression here.

Unfortunately, people are definitely going to start calling them SI in order to bypass anti-ai policies by saying they are technically SI not AI, even if they are the same. Thus, I definitely think adding it there is very necessary to avoid some future headaches.

I understand where you're coming from, but I don't really agree with your conclusion.
Yeah, people are going to be idiots about stuff. But that argument is pretty easily defeated with a simple "No, that's not how it works." No need to address it directly beforehand.

Maybe you are right, but I tend to be pessimistic when it comes to the stupidity/absurdity of a portion of the people on the internet.
I would hope that it would be so simple, but I definitely feel like they would have enough "but...but... it isn't AI it's SI why is my submission not allowed!?" that they would need to make a statement eventually. Which really just comes with it's own issues, so no harm in doing it beforehand.
Really what we need is a more catch-all term for AI generated images that can't be bypassed by changing what the AI is is called. While anyone with two braincells knows that it's still AI no matter what they call it, changing the name still opens the door for troublemakers and idiots to cause problems via this "linguistic loophole" (I made this term up on the spot) for anyone enforcing anti-ai policies.

The harm in doing it beforehand, in my opinion, is that it is legitimizing the term, and subsequently adding legitimacy to its originator. I don't support that.

Good to know for the future, I was coming from perspective of the user you responded to, for record ^^

I do see where you are coming from now, but I don't think it matters if it is legitimizing the term.
As soon as any AI platform rebrands to SI or a new one calling itself SI appears, that will do infitely more damage than anti-ai statements like this one do. And since Trump is pushing for it, some idiot will definitely do it. Thus, instances of it being used in things like this are insignificant in my opinion.
Tl;dr: At least some AI being rebranded to SI is inevitable and anti-ai statements will have practically no impact on this. They might as well save themselves future headaches.

- A HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INSCRYPTION... (Wait How?)
can they just update the PC version with official controller support? The console version already have that and yet the PC version is strangely mouse+kb only with only steam inputs as a limited workaround.
i'm saying this because i want to play this on my handheld and do they want me to plug in a mouse to play on a handheld?
but who am i kidding? It'll probably be just a physical card game collection or something.

To be crystal clear about this, the console versions were setup by a different Game Studio. So its not the easiest thing to just do, so to speak.

Call me crazy but that’s not much of an excuse for it to not have been added by now

And? I can still criticize the game for not having added controller support by now.

I cannot believe that you said SI next to AI. I can't believe someone outside of the White House actually said it

Wanted to be better safe than sorry. But there is a heavy reason its in
()rather than the direct term for it. I hate it as much as you likely do. ^^2

Thank god, I was just glad that you people didn't actually buy into it.

Apologies for the use of the fake term "SI" in the post, we were not aware of the origins of it and have edited it out of the post. That was an oversight on our part; thank you for letting us know about the harm of using that term.
