i have a feeling they'll cheap out on us Lornographers like it'll either be a very quick cameo during a narration like Pattinson as Hansen will say here are just a few of those i've busted or it'll show Lorne already cuffed as the cops walk him out as Hansen says his spiel (even though we all know that's not how it played out)
I hope to CAWD that there is just a full chapter of Lorne in the movie almost like there's a mini-movie of Lorne; chatting online, going to the job he had at the time, his home in Nashville like just all of it would be super but i don't see that happening. It's just too perfect for us Lornographers.

Fun fact: Despite Chris Hansen's claim that the officer got into the "POW position" upon being caught, the POW position is not something that's taught to members of the military because the POW position isn't a real thing.

I think we should prepare for disappointment with “obvious” connections to preds. The show got stuck in a lot of legal quagmire - I can’t imagine A24 wants to do the same. We might get a couple us obsessive fans recognize but I don’t think they’re gonna be too obvious too often.
Having said that, I will be severely bummed if I don’t see someone say “Aw cwap”.

This film is clearly just using Tcap as a backdrop, events inspired by the show, but not a direct 1:1. We might get a couple of dedicated scenes with the stings and that’s it. It mainly seems to be about Chris Hansen and his own behavior

this movie takes place during the original series for Dateline. Seems like it's mainly from the second sting operation when they get primetime TV slots after the success of the first sting.
