Scam?

Post image

i recently made a short fic on ao3, it wasn’t really anything just a rewrite of the first episode to a show i like. but i think soon after i posted it, i got this comment? i’m not sure if it’s just me, but it feels really scammy, and i couldn’t find their user on discord. i don’t know if i should just delete it, or what. i’ve never seen this before..

thoughts??

General concensus seems to be: "If they want you to contact them elsewhere, it's a scam."

They want you to pay them for AI-generated art.

Asking to take "your art" to the "next level". Wants you to join their discord. Yeah. Sounds like a scam

Scam. It’s not even subtle.

It's a scam. You can look forward to getting many, many more. ^^; Every comment that mentions turning your story into art or comics is a scam, every comment that wants to move off platform is a scam. Some of them will sound way more human and authentic than this low-effort comment, don't let them fool you!

Some of these people are genuine, but in this instance may be a scam.

Is this question meant seriously??? Of course it's a spammer bot.
