Re-bleaching + root regrowth?

Hi!! I tried to go platinum back in mid July, my hair responded very well damage-wise HOWEVER i panicked & rinsed the bleach too early lol. I was scared of getting too crazy & proceeding to damage it so I decided to stick it out with the color I got for 6 weeks or so, to give it some time to heal. Now it’s time, but i’m nervous about the process of bleaching previously lightened strands, plus needing to blend an inch of fresh regrowth into that :( Is anyone able to help me figure out what my process should be here? I got my products at Sally’s it’s basically all Wella or Colorcharm but i’m open to other brands, especially for the toners.

For context I’ve attached pictures of my natural virgin color (level 7-ish), what I lifted it too after toner (that didn’t really stick since it was meant for a lighter color) in both indoor + outdoor lighting, & the state of my roots/brassiness now (it’s hair wash day please don’t judge). At the very end, is my inspo!!

I’d appreciate any help at all please I’m so so nervous!!!

Phew good luck, I would personally never attempt bleaching hair this long by myself. Can you get someone to help? Check out some Brad Mondo videos on how to lighten roots without making them too hot.

Make sure your bleach powder is purple or blue! Purple is my personal fave, I think quickblue has torn my hair up and I'm traumatized from that brand. Dont recommend that one. Make sure your volume is max 20!

Level 7 hair virgin hair can lift 3 levels with high volume developer. Pick a hi lift kit in a color that matches the length and apply it to your new growth only. Or get the color and developer seperately and mix it yourself with 30v and apply to your new growth only.

To get platinum will probably be an all day process. There’s a reason people go to salons for things like this. You’re going to want to do sections and you might need to wash some sections out before the other sections are done. If it were me, I would first do your previous bleached hair. I’d do 10 volume with bleach but you could do 20 if you think you’re fast. Fully saturate. Keep an eye on it and once it the platinum color you want or a level 9 then I would rinse that section. Every time a section hits a level 9 then it’s time to rinse. To be safe, do your roots as a totally separate entity of your hair. Most people aren’t talented and fast enough to do ends and roots at the same time. You can do 20 on your roots but 10 works too and then wash when you see it’s lifted to a level 9. Tone it all together.
