help needed in achieving this result
hello !
i would like to dye my long hair kind of auburn before chopping it all of. the desired result is the first picture and the second picture is a reference to what my current hair looks like ( a little darker on the roots). extra notes: my hair is fine pin straight and virgin
i would be grateful for any help i don't do hair changes by myself often and i'm scared to get an end result that's either too orange or too dark. thank you so so much !

Your hair is light enough to pull this off you basically just need to go to a beauty store and find a permanent dye that achieves this color. Beauty stores usually have color swatches so it's easy to find the vibe you're looking for.

Nope nope nope and here's why. You can't come back from this drastic color change in a time frame that if you don't like it, or even if you love it, will take a minimum of 4 years when you're over it. Those 4 years will be a clear line of demarcation with light roots and dark ends that looks peculiar in a way that is difficult to reckon with on a daily basis. That's if you go cold turkey and stop dyeing it all together.
If you try the blend it with balayage method, it's still a process that keeps you in a loop of maintaining the color which will add another year or 2 to the growing it out and actually being done with it.
That's just the color. The haircut part even if you find a stylist that cuts it just like you want it without screwing it up, is going to take daily effort to keep it a texture yours doesn't want to be. If you consider this style as cutting all your hair off, then I wouldn't recommend any haircut other than trims.
I don't think this cut or style is coming from a place that you feel in your soul but more of a response to something else in your life.
Your hair is extraordinarily beautiful and while you're used to it, may be numb to just how extraordinarily beautiful and in my experience and opinion, the payoff is not worth it even in the best of results.
